Congrats Indira for the stamped visas May you have sucessful life out there in Canada.

As for me I am still in RBVO since 28th March 2011with 2nd. AOR and no news thereafter. What must be happening at the NDVO? Do you think they have started processing my file or are they just sitting on it because of the hot weather prevailing in New Delhi and waiting to cool after the rains and then look into our files?

Just some words from you dear.

    Regards,
    Ken

      Thanks Ken πŸ™‚

so, it looks like they want to issue the long pending visas and I heard at least a 10 visas in the past 2 days :). Once this surge is over, i assume they will start processing the files stuck in RBVO and In Process.

      Thanks,

      Indira Prabhakaran.

indira..can u pls share ur bfds? Thanks..

    1. Indira

Unsure, we never thought of calculating that date :(.. Usually it’s the final date given to you, to send your documents to the NDVO, on the communication from them.

      Indira Prabhakaran.

    Hi Indira,

i have recently received my visa and COPR and have some doubts regarding the same

    1. Apart from my visa which has been stamped on my passport, i have received two papers of COPR document

one is the CIC copy with my photo and other one is the client copy which does not contain my photograph.

My question is that is it normal to receive the client copy of COPR document without photo ?

    2. Do i need to make an application for a PR card separately once i reach Canada or will it be automatically mailed to the applicants to the canadian address ? should i need to carry additional photographs if in case i have to make the application for PR CARD ?

3 For proof of funds, can i carry TRAVELLERS CHEQUES for the whole amount in case if i dont opt for opening canadian bank account from India ?

    Your inputs are highly appreciated

    Thanking you in anticipation

    Siva

    1. Indira

      Congrats for visa πŸ™‚

      1. That’s absolutely fine. That’s the recently updated new look of COPRs.

      2. Nope, COPR itself is an application for PR cards and they will be automatically sent to you if you give them an address while landing.

      3. TCs are fine to carry for POF.

      Indira Prabhakaran.
